Pythons Cricket Club

Pythons cc has initially been established in 2011 formerly known as Coolag Pythons cc and was affiliated to the Cape Town Merchants Cricket Association. Due to administrative constrains in the 2012/2013 season Coolag Pythons was forced to withdraw from the CTMCA and concentrate on financial and administrative needs of the club. 

 

We have since re-established our team with fully dedicated Executive members and have gone full out to showcase the talent of the Pythons cricket club.

 

Our aims are to promote the game of cricket and encourage the expansion of the game to name a few.

 

Our Motto which stands “VEL PRIMUS VEL CUM PRIMIS” and means “IF NOT THE BEST THEN AMOUNG THE BEST” is what motivates this team and all our members strive at living up to our motto.

 

Since our re-establishment we are looking forward to building partnerships with our sponsors which plays a huge role in the upliftment not only of the sport but also of the affected communities. We are also supported by huge fan base who have played a major role in the re-establishment of this club.

 

The club currently consists of 20 active members from different backgrounds and all have the same love for the game namely cricket.
